Volunteers

People that sign up to be volunteers at the event will either be “dates” or work at the event.

Registration will be open for volunteers in the beginning of February. When registering, you will be considered for a “date” position or as a regular volunteer. This will all depend on how many special needs guests sign up to participate.

The “dates” will be paired with a special needs guest and will be their friend with them throughout the night having fun. Before the prom, there will be a meeting with all dates, giving you background information on your special needs guest.

The volunteers will do one of the following:

• Help with set up and take down of the event

• Be in charge of running a game during the event

• Helping with registration

• Serving refreshments
